With over 100 million players on a routine basis, Roblox has become a sensation amongst children and adults alike. There is always something to do in Roblox – be it a first-person shooter or an open-world survival, the multiplayer platform provides opportunities for anything… yes, ANYTHING!
Roblox has become notorious over the years because of the liberty it provides players with to do anything in the game – you can customize mods after other games, or even come up with your inkling; there are no boundaries.
As with most video games, managing your inventory can become a tedious chore, as you only have a limited inventory. As such, managing your inventory in Roblox for the items you need or not saves you the hassle of a mess in the future. Roblox makes this rather convenient by providing the option to remove anything you don’t need from your inventory.
In this article, I’m going to explain how you can drop items from your inventory in Roblox on both, the smartphone and desktop versions.
WHAT IS ROBLOX?
Developed by Roblox Corporations, Roblox is an immense online multiplayer game, which enables players to design their game modes, or simply play the ones created by other players. It hosts user-created games and simulated worlds, which cover an assortment of genres – from racing to role-play, there is nothing you won’t find on Roblox.
Roblox was released back in September 2006, and it took a decade for the game to become prominent. As of now, Roblox is available on almost every mainstream gaming platform, including Android and iOS devices. It has even found its way into pop culture, with the infamous “OOF” meme being an eminent aspect.
INVENTORY IN ROBLOX:
The inventory in Roblox is rather sophisticated and features a multitude of options. Be it observing what other players have in their inventory to pick up random items that others have dropped, it is a minor feature, but engaging.
One of the more engaging things that some players esteem would be to follow developers or other players around, to review their inventory. This could provide a notion of what to expect with the upcoming items and features in Roblox or simply peek out of intrigue. If you’re an in-game designer, reviewing others’ inventory was a method of coming up with your own “exclusive” design.
This only instigated theft in numerous ways. However, all of this changed when Roblox added privacy features for the inventory in the game. Accessed through the normal privacy settings, you now had the authority of who could track your inventory. Hence, putting an end to the eminent pastime!
To make your inventory private;
- Log onto your account in Roblox.
- Go to the Menu.
- Go to Settings, and then go to Privacy.
- From there, you can change the settings according to your desire.
The in-game inventory is riveting… until it becomes overcrowded with items! Once that occurs, the website is your resort. Whether it is customizing your in-game character or designing new merchandise, the website provides the most convenient methods to do so.
To do this;
- Navigate onto the Roblox website, and log into your account.
- Click on Menu, and then go to Inventory.
- You can use the tab on the left to choose categories of the items and navigate from there.
HOW TO DROP ITEMS FROM YOUR ROBLOX INVENTORY?
If you are playing Roblox on your computer and want to drop items in your inventory, do this;
- Open the inventory in-game.
- Click on the item that you want to drop and hold it.
- Then press BACKSPACE on your keyboard.
- To drop “hats” from your inventory, press EQUALS or ‘=’ on your keyboard.
If you are playing Roblox on your computer and want to drop items in your inventory, do this;
- Open the inventory in-game.
- Tap on the item that you want to drop.
- Tap on the Chat, and then tap on the “X” button when it appears.
